Thank you for visiting our new Internet site. You most likely found this site through a voice over site and by recommendation from another voice over talent.
Do you need a voice coach but don't want to buy a huge block of sessions at one time? Are the hourly rates just way too high? Would you like to learn more about your voice and how you are using it?
Because I have synesthesia, I can see sound. So when I hear a voice, I see something as if I am reading what you wrote. It's not magic, or supernatural or anything like that. It's just there for me to see.
If you'd like me to tell you what your voice looks like in a "trial" session, it's free. You'll send me an MP3 of your natural voice talking to me about you, what makes you happy, sad, your past, present and future. Then we'll talk on the phone (my dime) and I will tell you things about your voice you may not be aware of. If you want to learn more about how to use your voice, I'll give you some homework and when you are done, we'll set up our first session.
This is not voice acting. I don't teach voice acting. What I do is give you the tools to get better at using what you have, and not falling into bad habits, like making your throat tight, or clenching your teeth, that sort of thing. It will help you act and help you clearly and cleanly deliver your lines when you act.
My rate is $60 an hour and I will consider trading out for gear or services. Generally, you'll have 2 -4 sessions within a month, then take a few months off to enjoy what you've learned. Then we can do a "tune-up" session to see how you are getting along.
My job is to give you something that you take with you and can use always – whether you use your voice on mic, on the phone, or to have a more commanding presence at meetings and conferences. No matter how stressful the situation, you’ll have a great framework to lean back on.
Let me hear from you – the first little session is free – even if you are a skeptic - give me a spin – try to prove me wrong, you have nothing to loose but 15 minutes.
So send me an email and we'll go from there.
